Propel Magazine

Launched in September 2022, Propel Magazine is a new online literary magazine centres on the work of poets who have yet to publish a first full length collection of poetry. Publishing six issues annually, each with a guest editor, it showcases exciting new poetry at an impressively high standard, acting as a free and open resource for editors, readers and curators alike.

Anthology

Propel celebrated two years of publication with its first print anthology, featuring 120 poems selected from across our first twelve issues and a foreword from Editor in Chief Anthony Anaxagorou. The Propel Anthology offers an overview of some of the most exciting work emerging in UK and Irish poetry from poets yet to publish a first full collection.

Membership

In Autumn 2024 Propel launched an online community for subscribers –offering members access to community forums, exclusive content and discounts, together with its print Anthology – building on the community that has grown up since the launch of Propel and contributing toward sustaining the magazine into the future.

With a year's subscription, members receive a copy of the first Propel Anthology, and gain access to online community discussion and feedback forums and exclusive discounts and content, as well as providing essential support to enable the continuation of Propel Magazine.
